Grotticelle beach in Capo Vaticano:

The beach is of fine white sand and the sea is crystal clear. The Capo Vaticano coastline starts at Baia Di Riaci in Santa Domenica and finishes at Santa Maria. In the olden days Capo Vaticano was well known in all of Magna Grecia as the place of meditation where the soothsayers and mystics would gather to look into the future.

We offer a regular free mini-bus service to and from "Grotticelle" beach - one of the most beautiful beaches on the coastline - it's about a three minute drive from the hotel. The beach is free, however we have an agreement with one of the lidos in the best spot on the beach, where an umbrella and two sun-loungers will cost E5.00 per day (you can pay for a longer period and enjoy a discounted price). There are plenty of activities available on the beach, for both children and adults. It's possible to book excursions along the whole coastline, by boat or coach. The Grotticelle beaches are the best of Calabria.
